Welcome to the Space Robots Competition: Pioneering Robotics Beyond Earth!

Prepare to embark on an extraordinary journey into the future of space exploration. Our Space Robots Competition brings together the brightest minds in robotics, engineering, and AI to compete in four thrilling challenges designed to test the limits of ground robots and drones in extraterrestrial environments.

Each challenge is inspired by real-world conditions on Mars, the Moon, and in deep space mining operations, pushing autonomous systems to their fullest potential.

Martian Terrain Challenge

In this challenge, competitors will navigate robots and drones across an authentic recreation of the rugged Martian landscape. Teams will face rough terrain, steep inclines, and dust storms that simulate Mars’ unique conditions.

Ground robots will be tasked with overcoming harsh obstacles and traversing long distances autonomously, while drones must fly through difficult environments, providing aerial reconnaissance and support. Success in this challenge will require adaptability, innovative engineering, and precise autonomy.

Space Mining Challenge

The Moon’s surface poses its own set of challenges, from low gravity to lunar dust. Competitors will deploy ground robots and drones capable of navigating the moon’s cratered surface, handling extreme temperature variations, and dealing with lower light conditions.

This challenge will test the durability and mobility of robots in extreme environments, mimicking future missions to construct lunar habitats and explore uncharted lunar territories.

Lunar Terrain Challenge

Taking place in a specially designed gallery, the Space Mining Challenge will simulate the extraction of valuable resources from asteroids and other celestial bodies. Teams must develop robots capable of digging, collecting, and transporting materials under simulated microgravity conditions. Both ground robots and drones will be essential for coordinating mining operations in harsh, unpredictable environments. This challenge is designed to push the boundaries of what’s possible in space resource utilization. simulated microgravity conditions.

Drone Challenge: Autonomous and Coordinated Flights

In this challenge, drones will showcase their ability to perform complex, autonomous missions. Whether performing single-drone tasks or coordinating in a swarm, teams will be required to demonstrate precision, communication, and problem-solving in flight.

This challenge highlights the future of drone technology for planetary exploration, rescue missions, and construction in outer space. Each team’s drones will face dynamic obstacles and will need to demonstrate flawless coordination to succeed.
