Today we carried out an exciting robotics field test in the Casnigo Mine, as part of the preparation for our upcoming event, scheduled for April 2026.
We tested RoverTech, a rover developed by a team of Milan Polytechnic from the student PoliSpace association. The rover successfully navigated rocky terrain and even completed part of its path inside the cave inlet, demonstrating its mobility and adaptability in challenging conditions.

In parallel, a dog-type robot provided by DroneMaster, a member of Sisei, performed a simulation of exploration and reconnaissance inside the cave.

This activity is part of the broader research and innovation effort we are developing at SISEI, connecting industry, and exploration toward the future of robotics for space mission.
A special thanks to The RoverTech team:
Alberto Bellandi
Michele Baroni
Luca Attorrese
and to:
Filippo Servalli Mayor of Gandino
Fabio Zanoletti , Sisei Member
Federico Gotti, Dronemaster,
who have contributed to make this test possible.
